Dr. David Levine is a member of professional organizations, such as the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Pedorthic Footwear Association. He was the first podiatrist to serve as medical adviser to the Pedorthic Footwear Association.
Dr. Levine is active in the community, and has been a regular volunteer with the Frederick Community Action Agency, serving those without health insurance, for more than 20 years. He and his wife reside in Frederick, and have three children. In 2010, Dr. Levine opened Walkright, a shoe store specializing in comfort, which has now become New Balance – Frederick.
